What the almond base does under your hands

All three oils on this page start with sweet almond oil, the classic massage carrier: it spreads in long strokes and gives your hands a little more glide than a coconut base before it sinks in. Lavender adds jojoba and lavender oil and nothing else, which makes it the shortest label we print. Orange blossom and geranium add macadamia oil, and geranium also adds wheat germ oil.

The base is also the reason to read on before you buy. Sweet almond and macadamia are tree nuts, so none of these three is for anyone with a nut allergy. Orange blossom and geranium carry orange oil as well, and citrus oil on the skin before a day in the sun can leave it sun-sensitive, so wash them off first.

Questions

Sweet almond oils: what people ask

Are the Nooky almond oils safe for your nut allergy?

No. All three list sweet almond oil, and orange blossom and geranium add macadamia. Allergists advise people with a tree nut allergy to avoid skin products made with nut oils.

Which Nooky almond oil has the fewest ingredients for you to check?

Lavender: sweet almond oil, jojoba oil and lavender oil, three in all. Orange blossom lists ten ingredients and geranium eight.
