About this massage oil
Geranium leaf, green and floral
Pump this one into your palm and you get sweet almond oil with macadamia nut oil and wheat germ oil, scented with orange peel and citronella oil. The label calls it geranium leaf: green and floral rather than sweet, and the one to pick if lavender is too soft for you.
Like the orange blossom oil, it lists fragrance compounds by name, geraniol, citronellol and linalool here, and carries orange oil, so wash it off before going out in the sun. It also lists two tree nut oils and wheat germ oil. If any of those is a problem for you, the cautions below say which of our oils to look at instead.
The massage oils shelf holds 5 more choices beside the Geranium Massage Oil, and every one belongs to the Nooky lineup.
01
Almond, macadamia, wheat germ
The three carrier oils on the label, in that order.
02
Green, not sweet
Orange peel and citronella oil give it a leafy, floral scent.
03
Same bottle, same pump
The 16 fl oz black pump bottle all our oils share.

Before it goes on skin
It lists sweet almond and macadamia oil, and allergists advise people with a tree nut allergy to avoid skin products made with nut oils. It carries orange oil: citrus oils on the skin before going out in the sun can cause sun sensitivity. Try it on a quarter-sized spot on the inner arm twice a day for 7 to 10 days first, as dermatologists suggest. It is an oil, and oil weakens latex: keep it away from latex and polyisoprene condoms.
