Two labels without almond or macadamia

Five of our six oils list sweet almond or macadamia oil, so with a tree nut allergy in the house the choice comes down to two bottles. The coconut oil lists coconut oil, coco butter, fractionated coconut oil, sunflower oil and a coconut milk essential oil. The vanilla oil swaps the coco butter for cocoa butter and the coconut scent for an essential oil fragrance. Neither label names a tree nut.

That does not make them right for everyone. Both are coconut through and through, and coconut allergy, while uncommon, is real, so if coconut has ever given you a reaction, skip both. Test either one on the inside of an arm before the first massage, and keep it away from latex condoms like any oil.

Questions

No tree nut on the label: what people ask

Are the Nooky oils without tree nuts safe for your coconut allergy?

No. Both are coconut-based: coconut oil and fractionated coconut oil come first on each label. Coconut allergy is uncommon, but if you have one, skip both.

Which of the two should you pick?

By scent. The coconut oil smells of coconut milk, the vanilla oil of vanilla. The vanilla oil also comes as a pair of bottles.
